AntahKarana has been merging the realms of visual art, energy, and electronic music for over a decade. With a deep passion for uplifting and transformative soundscapes, she represents the concept of “Rainbow Bridge,” a term from Sanskrit that highlights the connection between the soul and the music that enhances our spiritual journeys.
During our March retreat, AntahKarana brought a demo of what would soon be her first official release, seeking feedback and support from our community of mentors and fellow artists. The retreat provided her with the right environment to refine her work and connect with mentors and creatives who shared valuable feedback.
Her participation in Beat Retreat was a pivotal step in her career. By July, her track was released on the well-respected label, Cafe de Anatolia, a testament to her growth and the constructive environment the retreat fosters.
AntahKarana’s journey at Beat Retreat illustrates how artists can deepen their creative connections and bring their projects to fruition. Join us to explore your creative potential in a supportive community, leaving the retreat with new insights and meaningful connections.
John is a DJ and music producer from Chicago and Panama dedicated to inspiring, teaching, and improving the world through the values and benefits of electronic dance music. He discovered Beat Retreat through one of the promoter partners, Club Rapture, and attended the inaugural retreat in November. He also participated in the March Beat Retreat, featuring mentors Atish, Enamour, and Saeed Younan. During this retreat, John was invited to join Atish’s highly sought-after mentorship program, which has helped supercharge his career.
Despite only producing for a year and a half, John is already celebrating his third official song release, with many more label releases on the horizon. His second release, a remix of Craig David’s “Fill Me In,” reached #38 on the Hypeddit charts and garnered 13,000 plays within two weeks.
John is now organizing the first-ever party outside of the Dominican Republic with Beat Retreat as a partner to help promote awareness of the brand. Two artists he met at Beat Retreat will perform at this event, showcasing the collaborative spirit and values of Beat Retreat.
